![]() I purchased the app years ago and used it fine on an iPhone 11, and am currently using it on my iPhone 13. I used it last month when purchasing AdGuard Family (which was only $19.99 at the time) and can confirm it still works (just checked).Įdit: Regarding the Pro app on iOS - it's possible that it can be used ONLY on one device at a time. If you go with Stacksocial, use code "BENS20" (without quotes) for 20% off. You then go to your AdGuard account and apply the key, and can now add/remove devices. You create an account with AdGuard, purchase the license through Stacksocial, and are given a license key. It's the same license as described above, just at a cheaper rate. The deal on Stacksocial is the same as if purchasing through the website. With a "typical" license, you create an AdGuard account, then tie the license to that account, and can then add/remove devices as you need. Purchasing the license in the free non-Pro app buys you your "typical" license, which can be used across devices (iOS, MacOS, Windows, and Android). ![]() ![]() It can be installed on any device using that Apple ID, and allows for family sharing. The "Pro" version is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID. If not, I might just stick to 1Blocker + ProtonVPN, even though having both AdGuard products might be preferable from a compatibility point of view. Not necessarily expensive, just confusing. So what's the catch?Īpps seem extremely polished, but I don't think I've ever seen more confusing pricing. Stacksocial currently has an offer for a lifetime licence for $ 29.99, down from an original $ 129.99, which matches none of the price tiers on AdGuard's website. Whats's the difference? Does a lifetime licence bought on iOS only include iOS devices? Does their web lifetime licence require an extra iOS licence? On their website, their lifetime family licence is currently $ 169.99 and includes 9 devices. Unless I'm missing something, this makes no sense. OTOH, their pro app is cheaper, just € 11.99 with the same features, and includes family sharing for up to six family members. On iOS, a lifetime licence IAP from their free app is € 15.99, but the app description doesn't list family sharing. I stumbled upon a possible combination of AdGuard + AdGuard VPN, but pricing for the former seems confusing. I've been looking at VPN offers, mainly for privacy concerns, but none of them seem to completely block ads, which means I would still need a system-wide ad blocker (I'm currently using 1Blocker on iOS and macOS). - Online reporting tool for missed ads/false positives.Public Telegram chat - a place for live discussion. At all times remember to be polite towards mods and other users. If you need to share a link, create a text post and include the link inside.
